358 Mesh High Security Fence and Gates installed for Babcock International, Inskip, Preston

We were instructed by Babcock to take down their old Security Fencing (75x25 weldmesh on concrete posts set in ground with razor barb to top), then to replace this with new 358 Mesh Security fencing, set 300mm deep in a concrete cill, with razor barb to the top - approx. 600m.

Site security was a top priority, and we could NOT leave any part of the site left exposed overnight, therefore we could only take down what we could install in a day.

What made this more difficult was we could NOT use ANY machinery given the amount of cables on this particular site!

The contract was installed on time, on budget, with no extras required.

The person in charge kindly wrote this letter on our behalf......

"Secure Fencing were selected to replace an Existing Fence at Our Radio Station. the Fence was approx 600m in length. This fence also had to meet strict MOD Security Specifications. Due to the nature of our business we had a large number of underground hazards some were on our plans but many were unknown.

Secure Fencing challenged all these problems in a professional and safe manner offering solutions not problems. The staffs on site were supervised at all times ensuring Method Statements and safe practices of work were being adhered to at all times.
